A businessman punched the air in delight after the name of his company went viral thanks to new world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua.
Robert Hayward, from Highfields Road in Witham, owns Texo Scaffolding and Construction in Stepfield.
The company won the rights to be named official sponsors of Joshua’s IBF world title fight against American Charles Martin at London’s 02 Arena.
The former Olympic champion entered the ring in a gown sporting the Texo logo Mr Hayward said: "It couldn’t have been better if we had choreographed it ourselves.
“It was a great piece of publicity for us, as our website almost went into meltdown as literally thousands of people logged on, presumably to see what we were are all about.
“We already sponsor Heybridge Swifts FC and recently backed snooker star Ali Carter at the German Masters in Berlin, so sport plays a big part in our corporate branding.
"Seeing Anthony Joshua walking into the ring wearing the Texo Scaffolding logo was pretty special.”
