Firefighters were called to a fire at waste and recycling centre in Great Dunmow this morning.
Essex County Fire and Rescue service said three fire engines were called to the centre, off Chelmsford Road, just before 9am on Wednesday, September 5.
When they arrived, they reported lots of smoke could be seen coming from a large warehouse on the site.
They ensured the electricity supply to the warehouse was shut off and began to tackle the fire.
Around 25 tonnes of waste was affected by the fire and crews managed to extinguish the fire by 10:15am.
