Braintree Town appear to have brought former striker Ben Wright back to the club on loan from Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Forest Green Rovers.
With Iron striker Dan Holman struggling with a knee injury, Rovers have said that they have allowed Wright to return to the Amlin Stadium on a short-term deal.
Wright left Braintree last summer to join Forest Green, but has been sidelined by a knee ligament injury for much of the season.
He has made five substitute appearances since February, but has come back to Braintree to gain more match fitness.
Rovers manager Dave Hockaday added: “Ben needs to get match fit and Braintree have lots of games left to play.
“Ben knows the club and he’s comfortable there.
“It’s good a good move for him, a good move for us and a good for them.”
