LEE Harding says Braintree Town’s players must move quickly to commit themselves to the club – or risk being replaced.
Iron boss Alan Devonshire has been busy shaping his squad ready for a fourth successive season in the Skrill Premier.
Kenny Davis, Dean Wells, Alan Massey, Jordan Cox, Sean Marks, Chez Isaac and Nick Hamann have all agreed contract extensions.
Dan Holman, Sam Habergham, Dan Sparkes, Ryan Peters, Matt Paine and Nathan McDonald have all been offered fresh deals to stay at the Amlin but are yet to put pen to paper.
And while chairman Harding stressed they still have time to make a decision, he said they cannot afford to wait too long to give their answer with so many potential signings available.
Harding said: “They get a full week to consider the offer – that’s the nature of the game.
“We want them to stay but they need to move reasonably quickly, because we’ve been inundated with agents and representatives wanting to bring their players to the club."
