Essex County Council
(Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.41) Order 2012 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts Ill and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce the following waiting restriction on roads in Braintree:
No Waiting At Any Time
Brandon Road, Braintree - Both sides, from its junction with Rayne Road, south, for a distance Braintree of approximately 15 metres.
Francis Road,Braintree - Both sides, from its junction with Rayne Road, south, for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
Harold Road,Braintree - Both sides, from its junction with Rayne Road, south, for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
Rayne Road,Braintree -
(i) South side, from its junction with Brandon Road, west, for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
(i) South side, from its junction with Brandon Road, east, for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
(ii) South side, from its junction with Francis Road, west, for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
(iv) South side, from its junction with Francis Road, east, for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
(v) South side, from its junction with Harold Road, west, for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
(vi) South side, from its junction with Harold Road, east, for a distance of approximately 8 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile number TL745 230 revision 001 with revision 002, and by substituting tile number TL750 230 revision 003 with revision 004.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 10 February 2012.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at Environment Sustainability and Highways, County Hall, Chelmsford.
Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Notley Road, The Street/Witham Road & Church Road, Black Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Notley Road, The Street/Witham Road & Church Road, Black Notley in the District of Braintree, as specified:

The closures are scheduled to commence on 13 February 2012 for 2 days between the hours of 07:00h and 19:00h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing and patching repairs are undertaken.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 13 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
