PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003
Notice is hereby given that an application was made to the Braintree District Council to vary a premises licence under the above Act on 21st September 2015. Applicant Ptaistow Broadway Filling Stations Limited. Address of premises: Rayne Road Service Station, Rayne Road, Braintree, Essex, CM7 2QS. Proposed variation to the licensable activities: I. Extend the hours for the sale of alcohol (for consumption off the premise) to 24 hours per day, seven days per week. 2. Remove seasonal restrictions for sale of alcohol on Christmas Day and Good Friday. 3. Add the provision of late night refreshment 23.00-05.00 hours, seven days per week.4. Increase the footprint and change the internal layout of the premise. 5. Remove conditions attached to the licence and replace them with updated conditions. The postal address of the Licensing Authority where the register is kept and the application may be inspected is: *The Licensing Department, Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree, Essex, CM7 9HB. Any person wishing to make representations on this matter shall give notice, in writing, stating the nature and grounds for making such representations to The Licensing Officer at the above address* within 28 days of the date of this notice - by the 19th October 2015.
