Essex County Council Footpath 3 Great Domsey and Highfields Lane Kelvedon

(Footpath 3 (Great Domsey Foot Crossing), Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: to temporarily close Footpath 3 (Great Domsey Foot Crossing), Feering, in the District of Braintree, for a distance of approximately 20 metres either side of the level crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 7 January 2012 for 1 night and on 28 January 2012 for 1 night between the hours of 23:50 and 06:50, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while an inspection is undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 7 January 2012 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier.

(Highfields Lane, Kelvedon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Highfields Lane, Kelvedon, in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Maldon Road, east, for a distance of approximately 250 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 19 January 2012 for 2 days, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while BT access poles and overhead cable.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The alternative route will be via Wind Mill Hill, Grange Road, Braxted Park Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 19 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
