Witham's Public Hall will be filled with the sounds of the 1940s on Saturday as the Jeff Short Orchestra and Singers arrive to host a special evening of music.
The 16-piece band is returning in full evening wear to the hall in Collingwood Road with their music for dancing and listening in A Big Band Christmas Dance.

There will be a licensed bar, a Christmas raffle and guests may Bring Your Own buffet.
Dress code is smart or black tie and party frocks.
Doors and Bar open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
Tickets: £17 for the main hall and £14 for the balcony available from the Witham Town Hall, withampublichall.co.uk or 0845 017 8717
