The Braintree Male Voice Choir will wave a sad farewell to their Musical Director following their concert Swinging Christmas.
In May, Elisabeth Miller announced that this year’s concert would be her last after 25 years of being the choir’s MD.
Under her leadership the choir has won many awards, traveled to perform throughout Europe and the UK and sung in German, Hungarian, Swahili and Welsh as well as producing two CDs.
But although there may be a poignant feel to the show, the choir have prepared a concert that will see their beloved MD go out with a bang with special guests The Sweeting Swing Band joining them on stage.
Swinging Christmas on Saturday will start at 7.30pm at Christ Church, London Road, Braintree.
Tickets are available from the Box Office at Joscelyne Chase Estate Agents, Bank Street, Braintree.
Reserved seats downstairs are available for £10 (concessions £9) and unreserved seats upstairs are priced at £8 (concessions £7).
