Witham Dramatic Club commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War with their production of Joan Littlewood’s musical, Oh What A Lovely War.
Telling the story of the Great War through songs and documents of the period, the play caused a sensation when it was first staged in 1963 at the Theatre Royal in Stratford.
It runs at Witham Public Hall in Collingwood Road from Wednesday to Saturday from November 19 to 22 at 7.45pm.
Tickets are £10 or £8 for senior citizens and children under 16 on Wednesday and Thursday only.
Tickets on the door will be £12 and £10.

Felsted School is also performing the musical from today until Saturday in tribute to the 253 Old Felstedians, masters and staff who lost their lives between 1914 and 1918.
Tickets cost £15 or £20 for premier seating. Funds raised from ticket sales will go towards Felsted School Drama.
