A musical theatre student will star alongside Coronation Street star Nigel Havers in a Christmas pantomime.
Edward Court, 20, of Tithe Close, Witham, has won the part of Little John in the Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Christmas production of Robin Hood.
Havers will star as the Sheriff.
Edward is currently in his final year of studying at leading theatrical academy, PPA in Guildford, Surrey.
In 2010 he received a Colchester Youth Award for Outstanding Achievement, after he penned his first ever musical The Wanted - The Legend of Robin Hood.
It was shown at Colchester’s Headgate Theatre and raised £4,000 for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, where Edward was treated for CFS/ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalopathy) when he was a teenager.
