A GRANDS worth of prizes are up for grabs during Braintree’s Christmas Fayre and Light Switch on next Sund.
The giant hamper will be raffled off during the event on Sunday.
With nearly £500 in vouchers and other goodies, the hamper is worth around £1000.
Emma Mack, of Mack’s Barber Shop, in Braintree’s High Street, has been collecting donations for the prize and selling raffle tickets.
She said: “We always raise money for Help For Heroes and we will be drawing the raffle prize at this year’s town event.
“All the prizes have been donated by businesses in the town.
“Tickets are £1 a strip and some people have bought £20 worth, the prize is so good.
“We want as many people to buy tickets as possible.
“We have lots of customers in the army so it’s nice to support this charity.”
Tickets are available from Mack’s Barber Shop for the raffle which will be drawn during the Christmas event on Sunday.
