Braintree: Couple offer reward for return of cash-filled envelope
A devastated couple are offering a reward for the return of an envelope containing £500 which was dropped in Braintree.
Mark Cheek parked in Sainsbury’s car park and walked along Coggeshall Road to Barclays bank where on arrival, he realised he had dropped the envelope containing his wages.
Self-employed painter and decorator Mr Cheek re-traced his steps, but the envelope was nowhere to be found.
He and wife Jackie, of Portland Close, Braintree, are now appealing for anyone who may have picked up the envelope last Tuesday lunchtime, November 19, to come forward.
The couple are offering a £50 reward for the return of the £500.
