A spy car can not arrive soon enough in Witham, according to residents suffering with parking nightmares and road rage around schools.
The spy car, designed to catch rogue parking around schools, will be on the streets in January and has been welcomed by many.
Mum Lisa Oakman said: “I live in Howbridge Road and am constantly fascinated by the lack of respect shown by drivers from parking across our drives to driving up and along the pavement when children are walking along the path.
“We need more parking attendants patrolling or the spy cars. Bring them on I say.”
At a Witham Community Committee meeting last Monday, councillors made police aware of a complaint received in connection with “inconsiderate” school-run motorists at Holy Family Primary School.
