Santa will be bringing some Christmas cheer to Halstead and Earls Colne next week.
The festive icon will be setting up his special grotto in Earls Colne High Street outside Fork Handles on Tuesday from 4.30pm until 7pm.
He will then make his way to Halstead where he will appear with his grotto outside Solar next Saturday between 9am and 12.30pm.
Tony Sale, a Halstead Rotary Club member and PR officer for the group, said: “The focus isn’t to raise money for charity but just to give something back to the community and to give the kids a treat and see Santa.
“There’s no charge to see Santa in his grotto but if people want to make a donation we should have a bucket there."
On the day Santa pays his visit to Halstead The Rotary Club will also be at the top of the High Street in Halstead selling their Christmas Trees from 8.30am.
Mr Sale said: “We will be selling the trees in aid of raising money for charity.
“They are normally very popular as they are real Christmas trees at competitive prices.
“They go quite quickly so we would advise anyone interested to come down quickly.”
