Braintree: Three men arrested following two assaults
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault following two attacks in Braintree.
The men, a 20-year-old from Braintree, a 22-year-old from Witham and a 37-year-old of no fixed address, remain in police custody.
Police were first called to an incident in Trottersfield at 4.05am today to reports that a man had been assaulted and his iPad and wallet had been stolen.
A cordon remains in place in the road.
Officers were then called to reports of an assault in Cressing Road at 6.05am.
Both attacks are being linked.
The men were arrested following the second incident.
