Traders are to hold their second Sandpit Lane market after the first was described as a great success.

The Sandpit Lane Community Christmas Craft Market will be held between 9am and 4pm on Saturday and will include stalls with gifts and accessories and a host of Christmas music.

On November 30 businessmen Jonathan Chase and Richard Townrow organised their first ever craft market in the lane and many nearby shops saw profits and footfall increase.

The duo hope to host the event every month with a range of different themes.
