More than 130 pensioners were treated to a slap up feast and songs.
The Rotary Club of Witham held its 63rd annual Christmas party in Witham Public Hall last Wednesday.
Rotarian Brian Olley, who has lived in Witham since 1960, said: “When you have a hall full of people, it’s so warm and cosy and you have a really good atmosphere.
“It was very successful.”
Diners were treated to jazz music, songs by children from Howbridge Junior School as well as other musical entertainment.
Mr Olley, of Chipping Hill, said: “The singing was beautiful by the children.”
Witham Rotary Club was formed in 1948 and currently has 31 members.
