People in Braintree and the surrounding areas deserve an even greater place to live and work. That’s why I’m standing as your MP – so I can use my passion and energy to make that a reality.
Top of my agenda is tackling the area’s transport issues, especially the A120, and pressing for a more frequent train service.
Housing and education are close to my heart and I want to ensure there is opportunity for all young people.
Another part of my local agenda is tackling health care.
I believe that we need to better address mental health care. Mental health should never be ignored or stigmatised.
I also want to reduce waiting times; many people suffer without support and I want to ensure that Braintree has the adequate resources to help.
The Liberal Democrats are working to build a stronger economy in a fairer society.
That’s why in Government we have already created 1 million jobs, helped 1.8 million apprentices, and given 24 million people a £825 tax cut.
I want to give the people of North Essex an MP who will work for them and ensure that they are listened to. I’ve had enough of being governed by people who don’t represent the public.
I hope to change this.
