Representing Witham has been a tremendous honour and privilege.
Over 12,000 constituents have received help and advice from me in 15,000 separate cases.
I have successfully campaigned for better local infrastructure, securing Government commitments to invest in upgrading the A12 into a three-lane carriageway, improvements to local rail services and access to superfast broadband services.
I am also working with local communities, councils and the Government to secure investment to improve the A120 and make it safer.
I believe that our green spaces are important and have stood with residents to oppose unsustainable overdevelopment.
Because we should have highquality local services, I have worked closely with local schools and parents to raise standards in education and improve literacy rates with my Get Witham Reading initiative.
I helped to safeguard the future of both academies in Witham Town by successfully opposing their planned merger.
I believe that the people of Witham should have the right to decide how they are governed and support a referendum on our membership of the European Union.
I also support the scrapping of the Human Rights Act, tougher controls on immigration, reforms to bring in English Votes for English Laws, more action to reduce welfare spending, and lower taxes for hard-working families and businesses.
