Four fire engines have been sent to a car fire on the M11.
Crews from Stansted, Newport and Saffron Walden attended the blaze on the M11 southbound between junctions seven and eight.
The fire service were called just after quarter to four this afternoon.
Crews report the vehicle is on the hard shoulder and is 100 percent alight.
The fire has also caught light to fencing on the grass verge.
Crews are wearing breathing apparatus and are using one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
