AN MP met with business owners over concerns about traffic and parking.
Witham MP Priti Patel met with Witham Industrial Watch to discuss concerns over the impact of parking and traffic pressures affecting their businesses, which are based in the town’s industrial estates.
The condition of Crittall Road in particular was raised and Mrs Patel wrote to the local councils and utility providers asking them to meet with WIW and develop an action plan to address these problems.
She said: “Businesses based on the industrial estates need ease of access to their premises to support trade and deliveries but the traffic and parking problems in this area are horrendous.
“Witham Industrial Watch are doing a great job supporting these businesses and the local councils and utilities providers need to engage with them to ensure that there is a resolution to the parking and traffic problems.”
