A FATHER and son duo have celebrated the growth of their family business by moving into a brand new space.
Mick and Mark Bailey, who run Essex Business Machines in Witham, have moved from Freebournes Industrial Estate to Eastways.
The company was founded in 2005 by Mick, who offered local businesses refurbished printers.
His son Mark joined the company in 2008 as the business grew, and they now have 10 full time staff members.
Mark Bailey, said: "It was really good to have our customers there, we had about 60 people there from local businesses and it was a really good turn out.
"Witham MP Priti Patel came down and said a few words- she opened our last offices so she could see where we have come from to where we are going as a business.
"We have come very far since then and the business is growing year on year."
Guests enjoyed a barbecue from Witham takeaway service Love Food & Drink, and Mick Bailey was presented with a certificate for the company’s continued support to children’s charity, Brainwave.
He has been an ambassador for the Witham charity since 2007, which works with children with disabilities and additional needs.
