MP for Witham Priti Patel has welcomed a new role in the new cabinet of Prime Minister Theresa May.
The pro-Brexit MP was formerly employment minister under David Cameron and is now Secretary of State for international development after the shock resignation.
Mrs Patel, 44, has represented the constituents of Witham for ten years.
She was seen just after 3.30pm walking to 10 Downing Street where she was given her new job.
