More than £100,000 worth of jewellery was stolen during a break-in at a store in Gosfield.

The items were stolen from Gosfield Shopping Village, in Petersfield Lane, at around 4.30am on Wednesday, November 15.

Burglars forced open a fire door of the premises and smashed display cabinets to steal jewellery, watches and coins.

The total value of the items taken is more than £100,000.

Essex Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the items of jewellery or been offered them for sale.

Any witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the burglary are also being asked to contact police.
