New appeal to find wanted man

DETECTIVES have renewed their appeal for information about a wanted man.

Essex Police wants to speak to Yasir Ahmed, from Braintree, after he failed to appear at court.

Ahmed (pictured above) is 20 and has links to Halstead, Chelmsford, Sudbury, London and Birmingham.

He is described as being 6ft 1in tall, of slim build, and has short dark hair.

Police launched their appeal back on January 14 and have issued a fresh plea to the public after failing to track him down.

Insp Colin Cox said: “I am seeking the assistance of the local community to help officers locate this wanted male.”
