A new restaurant has opened in the heart of the town centre.
Flamin' Moe's was officially opened by Witham MP Priti Patel in a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
The restaurant, on Newland Street, shares a building with sister business Gelato Temptations which opened in 2019.
The new venture features a menu of Peri Peri Steaks, burgers and seafood.
Ms Patel said she is pleased owner Mohammad Saleem used lockdown to develop his business further.
Ms Patel added: "I’m very pleased to see that Mohammad is expanding his business and has used the long lock down periods to develop a new string to his bow.
"It seems like an excellent combination of businesses to me.
"You can have your main meal in Flamin’ Moe’s and then move upstairs to Gelato Temptations for dessert! I wish him well with his new venture and I will be following his progress with great interest.”
Mohammad said: "It was great to see Priti again and to have her open our new venture.
"It seemed only fitting as she opened Gelato Temptations for us. Her continued support is very much appreciated."
