A picture shows the aftermath of Braintree town centre in the hours that followed after the Euro 2020 final.
Fans were left dissapointed when England lost to Italy 3-2 on penalties after the game finished 1-1 after extra time.
While the majority of people behaved responsibly, there were some who spilled out onto the High Street to vent their frustration, causing damage to barriers in place due to the ongoing pedestrianisation works.
Since the game England's Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka have all been targeted by racial abuse online after all three players missed penalties.

Witham MP Priti Patel said she was "disgusted" by the abuse and that she would back the police to hold those responsible accountable.
But England defender Tyrone Mings accused the Home Secretary of pretening.
Taking to Twitter he said: "You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ and then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens."
