THREE nights of back to back tribute acts performing some of the 20th Century's biggest hits comes to Witham Public Hall this weekend.
The Searchers and Hollies Experience brings the magical hits of the two legendary harmony bands back to life on Friday, July 30.
The two-hour show takes audiences back to the highest energy decade in pop history and features more than 30 songs, including Sweets For My Sweet, Sugar and Spice, When You Walk in the Room, Don’t Throw Your Love Away, Stay, Just One Look, He Ain’t Heavy He’s My Brother, Bus Stop, The Air That I Breathe and many more.
They are performed by the FOD band who were were handpicked by original Searchers lead singer Tony Jackson as backing band for his own solo tours.
The show is at 8pm and tickets are £14 (£13 concessions).
Saturday sees Mark Summers’ Elvis Legacy getting the venue all shook up.
One of the world's top selling international Elvis tributes, Mark has worked around the globe from London’s West End to Memphis, USA, appearing with many of Elvis’s original band members, movie co-stars, pals and even some of the Presley family.
The show is at 8pm and tickets are £15.
Acclaimed vocalist Maddie Cole and her band are back by popular demand for a spectacular tribute to the iconic female British artists who made the 60s swing, twist and shout.
Step Inside the 60s is a high-energy trip down memory lane from the Cavern to Carnaby Street which will get fans' feet tapping and hands clapping, with tributes to Cilla, Lulu, Dusty and friends.
The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £18 (£16 concessions) from Witham Town Hall or online at withampublichall.
