The 33rd annual Coggeshall Flower Festival is set to take place later this month.
Visitors will be taken on a floral journey through the history of the town, from early Saxon times to present day.
The festival, taking place at the Church of St Peter ad Vincula over the August bank holiday weekend, will offer music and refreshments.
On Saturday, August 28, saxophonists and band Martin Dobson’s Midnight Oil will be hosting a concert of jazz from 7.30pm.
The festival usually brings thousands to the village and entry is completely free, although donations to the upkeep of the church are encouraged. For tickets and more information, contact Sarah Wickens on 07974 802304.
