A CHARITY is appealing for donations of pyjamas for children in hospital and other people in need in this Christmas.
Each year Children’s Hospital Pyjamas asks for donations of new pyjamas from the public and businesses.
These are then distributed to children in hospital, hospices and women’s refuges in time for Christmas.
Last year donations went to 90 establishments, several of which were in Essex.
Donations are down this year and residents have until October 31 to send new pyjamas to the charity.
Groups, workplaces, and schools can help out by organising a pyjama collection for the charity.
Drop off points for donations in Essex are most Santander branches, the Natural Way health shop in Braintree, and Temme English estate agents in Maldon, Colchester and further afield.
