A TRIBUTE band missed their gig in Essex after being snowed in for days following Storm Arwen.
nOASIS, a tribute of the famous band from Manchester, were due to play at the Bocking Arts Theatre.
However, the band ended up stranded in the Tan Hill Inn, in the Yorkshire Dales.
Along with other Oasis fans and seven bar employees, they found themselves stuck for three nights after huge snow drifts trapped them.
The situation reached social media with the band dubbed #Snowasis, and even being recognised by Liam Gallagher.
The Oasis member tweeted saying how he was actually jealous of the situation.
Some trapped guests claimed they don’t want to leave after enjoying the 17th-century hotel’s hospitality.
In the Bocking Arts Theatre, the night went ahead anyway, with late replacement acts Jamie McGuire and Jimmy Dee filling in with very short notice.
James Beatty, event organiser, said: “The show must go on and we had a brilliant night with over three hours of live music, audiences had a blast and will hopefully be back for nOASIS in February.”
The nOASIS date has now been rebooked for Saturday February 26 at the arts theatre.
Tickets can be purchased at BockingArtsTheatre.com.
