A CANCER survivor is set to be glowing after winning a makeover.
Glow, in Colchester, ran a competition in conjunction with sister newspaper the Gazette to find someone who was especially deserving of a makeover.
Owner Carla Balasuriya said: “So many of us do everything for everyone else, but never stop to treat ourselves.
“Glow is the place to go for busy people to take some time out for themselves”.

Yvonne Spalding, from Braintree, was announced as the winner and will get a pampering session including a hair colour, cut and blow dry, lashes, nails and spray tan.
Yvonne entered with a message saying: “The past 12 months have been tough and stressful for all.
“I nominated myself because I have had cancer, infections, stoma, extreme weight loss and recovered.
“I now work again on a temp basis and would love to win the Glow makeover.
“This would be a wonderful perk to close the unpleasant times and all of my family and friends could admire the effects.”
