A MAN has been handed a community order after being charged with possession of a knife.
Steven Stanio, 37, of Cressing Road, Braintree, admitted the charge of possessing a kitchen knife in Cressing Road on January 22.

When he appeared in Colchester Magistrates Court on February 10, he was handed a community order where he must attend rehabilitation and he was also ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.
Stanio must also pay a victim services charge of £95 and £105 costs.
