A MAN has been arrested and charged with four charges in connection with an ATM theft.
Officers were looking to speak with James Hamilton in connection with an ongoing investigation into the theft of an ATM in Great Notley.

The ATM was taken from the Co-op in Panners Parade on January 7.
The Co-op was burgled shortly after 12.15am, and when officers attended, they found that a standalone ATM had been taken and major damage was caused to the front of the shop.
Six people have already been arrested since the event, with four men already being charged, as the investigation continues.

Hamilton was subsequently arrested yesterday (March 9) in Chelsmford.
He has since been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday March 10).
