A WORRISOME pooch is in need of a home as he looks to build his confidence.
Handsome Hercules is waiting at Danaher Animal Shelter in Wethersfield, looking for a family to take him in.
The one-year-old bull breed cross found a home earlier this year but after it wasn’t quite right, he is searching once again.
Hercules finds it unsettling being left alone, so is looking for new owners who are at home most of the time and can help implement the right kind of training to help settle his worries.
However, this type of behavioural training cannot be done in a kennel.

A spokesman for Danaher said: “Hercules is a young adolescent dog and requires a patient owner who has the time and commitment to give to him during this period of development. It is important to understand that, just like human teenagers, this phase will pass.
“In his new home, it is important Hercules gets the right outlet and stimulation for his energy in the form of physical exercise and also brain games. The most rewarding activities for Hercules is a game of tug, long quiet walks where he has plenty of opportunities to explore using his nose, but mostly he loves calm belly rubs and chilling out by your side.”
