A NEW store is coming to Braintree Village to expand on the available shops.

Braintree Village is preparing to welcome a Champion outlet to its line-up, that will be opening on Friday (March 18).

The 2,309 sqft store will be located opposite Calvin Klein, on the centres North Mall.

Champion was founded in 1919, and has been a leading premium athleisure and sportswear retailer for over a century., selling a variety of sportswear, to loungewear and more.

Head of Retail at Champion Vicky Ringer said: “We are proud to be launching our fifth Champion outlet store, and Braintree Village is the perfect location in the heart of Essex.

"Our store’s team is looking forward to hosting and showing you our exciting collections in store, with menswear, childrenswear, womenswear, footwear, and accessories all available to shop.”

The new Champion store will be part of the ever-growing shop choice in Braintree Village, with more than 70 brands and high-street names already there.

Braintree Village Centre Director Josef O’Sullivan said: “We’re delighted to welcome Champion to Braintree Village.

"Champion offers our guests something fresh for the Spring, further strengthening our sportswear and athleisure offering.
