A HOUSEBUILDER has raised thousands in support of a children’s disability charity.
Leading developers Redrow has raised more than £20,000 in support of Brainwave, their chosen charity for the past two years.
Each year, Redrow’s Eastern division sponsors a different charity through organising various corporate fundraising events.
After not being able to do this for the last two years due to Covid, the fundraiser returned with a bang, raising £20,300 for Brainwave through the sales of furniture that previously featured in the division’s show homes.

Brainwave used to have a division in Witham, and are planning outreach services in the area.
The charity helps children with disabilities reach their potential through specialist therapy programmes delivered by qualified therapists.
National Fundraising Manager at Brainwave Nicky Evans commented: “We are delighted with the incredible support we’ve received from Redrow Homes staff throughout the pandemic.
“Their generous donation will enable our therapy team to help families on a Brainwave programme through face to face and online therapy support.
“Children with disabilities will continue developing and reaching their milestones, ensuring they achieve greater independence and reach their full potential.
“A huge thank you to all staff who got involved to make a difference to many children’s lives.”
