Here are the latest food hygiene ratings awarded to some of Braintree’s establishments.
The Food Standards Agency’s website shows a number of eateries in the district have been handed new scores this month.
These are the latest ratings:
Restaurants, cafes and canteens
- Riverside Spice in Lower Holt Street, Earls Colne, was rated five after inspection on March 29
- Eastern Aroma in Railway Street, Braintree, was rated three on February 24
- Fox In The Stables Tea Room in Gosfield Shopping Village, was given the score of four on March 10
- Yvonne's Cafe, at Unit 12, Westmead, in Gosfield was rated four on March 2

Pubs, bars and nightclubs
And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
- The Bull PH in Market Place, Braintree, was rated five on March 30
- The White Lion in Church Street, Sible Hedingham, was rated five on March 15
- The White Hart, in Halstead High Street, was rated four after assessment on March 9
- The Locomotive, in Butler Road, Halstead, was given the score of three after assessment on February 25
