AN adorable cat is patiently waiting for a home after becoming more confident with people.
Lola is an eight-year-old domestic shorthair, and came to the Danaher Animal Shelter, in Wethersfield, last month after being rescued.
Whilst nervous at first, she has been coming out of her shell and hopes to find new owners to give her a home.

A spokesman for Danaher said: “She arrived in our care through no fault of her own.
“After arriving at Danaher it took a few days to adjust to cattery life but this was to be expected.
“Lola has now started to really relax and come out of her shell. She will now come out from under her bed and come straight over to you for a fuss, or to rub up against your hand.
“Once Lola settles into her new home and surroundings she really will be such an affectionate girl and all she will want is cuddles every evening.”
