A REVAMPED pub has relaunched to residents following a major transformation.
The Fowlers Farm, on Cressing Road in Braintree, has undergone a renovation and reopened its doors to punters last weekend.
Work commenced on May 2 and the renovvations have transformed the interior and exterior of the country pub.
The look pays homage to the traditional roots of the pub and its location but owners say it is a contemporary take on the classic country pub.
With history dating back 600 years, The Fowlers Farm was used as a safety hub during the Second World War for the local community.
Decades later, it’s now a vibrant pub with a garden perfect for long, warm evenings for families and four-legged friends.
Changes include the addition of a private dining area, a new garden and styled interiors. Along with a new look, The Fowlers Farm has introduced an all-new food offering.
In addition to lunch and dinner, the pub will now offer a brunch menu which boasts a selection of popular dishes from 9am until midday Monday to Saturday and 11.30am on Sundays.
The new dinner menu will also offer freshly cooked dishes including chargrilled skewers, stonebaked pizzas, steaks and roasts.
Alongside the food, guests can also sample a selection of wines, gins, craft beers and cocktails.
Following a significant investment, 15 new full and part time jobs have been created for the local area and the Braintree pub is currently seeking to recruit talented new team members for both front and back of house roles.
Adam Parkes, general manager at The Fowlers Farm, said: “We’re working hard to create a truly unique and stimulating experience for our guests and are so excited to unveil the new country pub to the local area.
“The changes are all centred around creating an original country pub with a real difference.
“The Fowlers Farm will provide both our regulars and first-time guests with an exciting location to enjoy high-quality dining in beautiful surroundings.
“Both myself and the whole team are incredibly excited to open the doors and welcome guests to experience The Fowlers Farm for themselves, we hope that they love the transformation.”
