ARTISAN businesses are making their way into a shopping village as part of its summer experience.
Braintree Village is set to welcome a line-up of pop-up businesses.
On August 20 and 21, guests will be able to sample and buy locally crafted cider from Stisted’s Big Bear Cider Mill.
The brewer grows its own apples at Rayleigh Orchard, and its cider is made from 100 per cent apple juice and is naturally vegan and gluten-free.
Braintree Village independent retailer Summer Aromatherapy will be hosting workshops on a number of dates in July and August.
These will include everything from painting your own bath bomb sessions, to bath salt creation.

In addition to independent brand pop-ups in the summer lounge, some of Braintree Village’s biggest brands will be hosting events in the floral space.
A foosball event will take place from July 29 to 31, and Molton Brown will be on site with its fragrance experience cart on July 22 and 24 from 11am to 3pm, when guests will be able to sample scents and take advantage of special discounts in-store.
Braintree Village director Josef O’Sullivan said: “With summer in full bloom, we wanted to offer an opportunity for our shoppers to browse some local independent traders at our floral lounge, and enjoy some summer fun with our resident brands too.
“Alongside the excitement of showing our guests some Essex and Suffolk-based brands, we are delighted to be able to support these local businesses and provide a platform for them to grow their customer bases.”
