POLICE are no longer looking to locate a man missing from mid Essex.
Michael Dyson was missing from Takeley, with police issuing an earlier appeal to find him.
Michael left home around 8.30pm yesterday, Tuesday August 23, and has not been seen by anyone since.
Essex Police were carrying out thorough enquiries locally to try and find him and are appealing to the public for extra support.
A spokesman said: "Michael is believed to be driving a silver Vauxhall Astra, part registration DN12.
"The 45-year-old is described as white and was wearing a white t-shirt, navy shorts and trainers.
"We need to make sure Michael’s safe.
"Anyone with information about Michael’s whereabouts or the location of the Astra is asked to call 999, quoting incident 109 of August 24.
"If you're with him now, please call."
