AN Essex school has been recognised by a renowned publication in its latest Schools Guide.
Felsted School was part of the list in the Tatler magazine.
Tatler has produced the conclusive guide to the top independent schools in the UK annually for 18 years.
Felsted School was chosen to headline the East Anglia and Midlands section of the Tatler Schools Guide 2023.
It is described in its entry as an “un-snobbish, forward-thinking place that welcomes different perspectives and is committed to embracing even more”.
Felsted’s global outlook and philanthropic work were also singled out for praise.
Headteacher Chris Townsend said: “We are delighted that the all-round education we offer at Felsted, which inspires academic excellence as well as a focusing on developing individuals’ own particular skills and attributes through a strong co-curricular programme and supportive environment, has come to the attention of the editors at Tatler.
“It is an honour to be included alongside some of the most famous schools in the world and to be able to share the essence of modern Felsted and our four and a half centuries of history with a wide readership.”
