POLICE are calling on residents to help identify a pair of men in connection with an ongoing public order offence investigation.
The victim was on Great Dunmow High Street on Monday, November 14, when they were verbally abused and spat at after asking two men to pick up litter they had dropped, the offences occurred at around 3.30pm.
Police are asking for people who know the men to get in touch in aid of the investigation.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “If anyone knows who they are or has any further information, please contact us.
“You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online live chat service available Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, between 10am-9pm.
“Alternatively, you can call us on 101 and if you would like to make an anonymous report you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers, by visiting their website or by calling 0800 555 111, always call 999 in an emergency.
“Please quote incident 705 of November 14 when providing any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.”
