BELLWAY HOMES
For those dreaming of buying their first or next home, a helping hand has arrived courtesy of Bellway, at several new developments in Essex and Suffolk.
The scheme from Bellway Essex could help aspiring homebuyers across the county take that crucial final step in making their long-held ambition of homeownership a reality, or enabling them to move up the ladder into a new build property built by Bellway.
The housebuilder is offering customers a £5,000 contribution towards a deposit on homes at 12 of its developments in Essex and Suffolk.
Bellway’s A Place to Call Home campaign has been launched to support potential buyers who have saved up almost enough to secure the deposit they require, but just need that extra boost to help them achieve their goal.
The £5,000 deposit contribution is available on homes at ten Bellway developments in eight locations across Essex - in Earls Colne, Hatfield Peverel, Colchester, Witham, Chelmsford, Saffron Walden, Great Dunmow, and Halstead. Two developments in Suffolk – in Ipswich and Haughley – are also included.
Jenny Walker, Sales Director of Bellway Essex, said: “We wanted to support people who have been saving for their dream home, but needed that extra boost to get them over the line.
“That’s why we have launched our A Place to Call Home campaign - to give people that much needed financial lift, which puts them in a position to go ahead with their purchase.
“Not only will this cash offering bring customers nearer to their dream of owning a new build home, it will also unlock a wider range of mortgage deals, which can make a big difference to buyers.”
Bellway has held five-star status with the Home Builders Federation for the past six years, because more than nine out of 10 of its customers say they would recommend the company to a friend. Its A Place to Call Home campaign is part of its commitment to continuing this excellent customer service.
“At Bellway we always put customer service at the forefront of everything we do. We are committed to supporting buyers all the way through their house buying journey” said Jenny.
“Whether that is allowing someone to get on the housing ladder for the first time or to move up to their next home, we are keen to do what we can to make it happen.
“We have a great variety of property styles and locations, so there are options to suit a wide range of tastes and budgets. With our £5,000 deposit contribution, buyers might find that the size or style of home they thought was out of the question, is now a very real possibility.”
The developments covered by the scheme in Essex are: Harvard Place in Earls Colne, Hatfield Grove and Priory Grange in Hatfield Peverel, Hollytree Walk in Colchester, New Gimson Place and Rivenhall Park in Witham, Novello in Chelmsford, Poppy View in Saffron Walden, Sapphire Fields in Great Dunmow, and Willow Park in Halstead.
Developments in Suffolk that are included are at Eve Meadows in Haughley, and Ridley’s Orchard, in Whitton, Ipswich.
Bellway is building a full range of new homes across the different developments, including one and two-bedroom apartments, two, three, four and five-bedroom houses, and bungalows. Bellway’s Express Mover scheme is available on selected plots, as is the opportunity to pay no stamp duty land tax on certain properties available within the campaign.
Express Mover provides a service to sell a customer’s existing home via local estate agents with no agents fees to pay, enabling a smooth and speedy sale of the buyer’s current property, meaning they can move into their new Bellway home without delay.
