OFFICERS have raided a house after discovering it was filled with cannabis.
Police were called to an address in Braintree in the early hours of Tuesday morning, January 3.
Upon arrival officers found the house had been converted to grow cannabis, and subsequently carried out a raid on the property.
A spokesman said: "The house has now been cleared and made safe after the electricity to the address had been tampered with.
"Set ups like these are usually run by organised crime groups who exploit vulnerable people in our community to do the dirty work.
"If you have any information or have concerns about an address in your community that might be involved with drugs you can pass details to the police without giving your name at crimestoppers-uk.org."
Call Essex Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
