A YOUNG girl has been missing for nearly two weeks and police are concerned for her welfare.
Kimberley Jefferson, 15, was last seen on Saturday, January 7.
She is missing from Great Easton and Essex Police have launched a public appeal in the hope of gathering information about her whereabouts.
Police said it is possible she has pink hair extensions and it is believed she could be wearing a pink tracksuit.
She has connections to Guildford in Surrey and Acton in London.
Anyone with information has been asked to get in contact with Essex Police.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are appealing for the public's help to find 15-year-old Kimberley Jefferson, who is missing from Great Easton.
“Kimberley hasn't been seen since January 7 and we are concerned for her welfare.
“She is described as a black girl, with brown eyes.
“She was last seen wearing a black puffa coat.
“It's possible that she has pink hair extensions in and a pink tracksuit.
“She has connections to Guildford in Surrey and Acton in London.
“If you see her or have any information on her whereabouts, please call 101, quoting MPC/117/23.”
