POPULAR street markets are set to return to Braintree town centre in spring.
The events, which feature street food, drinks, gifts and homeware, will run on the last Saturday of every month, from March 25 until September.
The street market traders will set up alongside the existing weekly market stalls.
Braintree Council is urging residents to visit the market and support the stallholders as well as independent businesses in the town.
The council is also offering pop-up stalls at to help fledgling. The small market stalls are available to hire from just £11 so new sellers can test the market without having to invest in a gazebo.

Economic growth boss Tom Cunningham said: “We are so pleased to welcome back the street market for another year and host both new and existing traders.
“They’re a highlight for our residents and a great way of getting people into the town to support local businesses.
“If you run a business and have been considering a stall at one of our street markets, I would really encourage you to give it a go.”
