TWO pubs are holding real ale festivals, including three beers from overseas brewers.
Wetherspoons is hosting 12-day festivals, which will include a range of up to 30 real ales, including three from abroad.
The Picture Palace, on Fairfield Road in Braintree, and the Battesford Court, on Newland Street in Witham, are holding festivals from Wednesday, March 22, until Sunday, April 2.
The overseas tipples at the event are from Switzerland, the USA and Belgium.
There will also be vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free beers.
As well as featuring a range of different malt and hop varieties from around the world, some beers will include orange peel, chocolate, and coriander as ingredients.
All the beers will be £2.35 a pint.
Battesford Court manager Joanne Gilchrist said: "The festival is a great celebration of real ale.
"It will allow us to showcase a selection of superb beers over a 12-day period at great value for money prices.
"It will also give our customers the opportunity to enjoy several beers which have not previously been served in the pub, including those from overseas."
